2011 National Undergraduate Trauma Conference

The KCL Surgical Society is proud to present the 2011 Annual Trauma Conference, hosted in conjunction with the KCL Emergency Medical Society.

Delegates will have the opportunity to attend a full day of interactive lectures and workshops, based around Surgical and Trauma guidelines. It is hoped that attendees leave the conference with clear views on understanding and delivering clinical excellence to the trauma patient.

For just £…10 for KCL students and £15 for externals, delegates can learn and experience a field of medicine that they are offered little exposure to in the medical school curriculum, but that is of vital importance. All delegates will also receive a conference welcome pack and programme, and a certificate of attendance. The morning sessions introduces clinically oriented talks on the fundamentals of surgical and trauma management. Given by renowned experts in the field, the lectures aim to introduce students to the concepts addressed in the afternoon’s workshops.

These small-group interactive sessions, based in the Clinical Skill Laboratories, provides delegates with hands-on experience of equipment and techniques and teaching will be given by specialist teams. In addition, there will be free raffle prizes on the day.

Students from all universities are encouraged to attend this great event, for what promises to be a highly informative occasion for students of all years!
